The Guest Room

In the 1800’s it was commonplace in grand mansions such as Fairbanks House to have a guest bedroom on the first floor while the family’s bed chambers were kept more private on a separate floor. This was certainly the case in the Fairbanks family home. The Guest Room, a bright, first floor room, now comfortably houses two beds – a queen and twin bed, perfect for families or a girls’ getaway. A large soapstone fireplace adds charm, while the 50-inch TV provides entertainment. The walk-in shower enhances the room’s convenience, making it a practical yet inviting option among our Amelia Island rooms.
