How to Attend Dickens on Centre

The three-day event is free to the public! The Victorian Christmas festival is easy to attend as you do not have to pre-register and is fully public. This year the event will take place on Dec 8-11th and will feature all the fun it had in years prior! While the main event is free, there are several ‘special events’ within Dickens on Centre such as Dickens After Dark which are ticketed and restricted by age. What to do at Dickens on Centre

The festivities begin with a tree lighting ceremony at Dickens on Centre Square. This event is free and open to the public. After the tree lighting, Dickens on Centre Street comes alive with holiday music, carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, and more! You can also find unique gifts for your loved ones at the Dickens on Centre shops.

Several special events within Dickens on Centre are tailored to different audiences. Dickens After Dark is a VIP event for adults only! (21+) with specialty entertainment, ghost tour, and is catered.

The Dickens Enchanted Village is made of eight snow globes you can walk around to feel like you are in a life-sized snow globe!

If you enjoy running there is the ‘Run Like the Dickens’ 1-mile fun run on Amelia Island Beach open to all members of the family even the pets.
