There are very few – if any – guest rooms like our Grand Tower Suite. This two and a half bedroom suite comprises the entire third and fourth floors of the mansion. The third floor is comprised of a large living room with a very comfortable sectional sofa, a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus an antique twin daybed in another sleeping nook that is actually the first floor of the tower. The room was originally the attic and third floor playroom for the Fairbanks’ grandchildren so it’s loaded with all kinds of character: angled ceilings, saloon style doors, lots of cubby holes and eyebrow windows. This room was the original home of the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Getaway and you can understand why. It feels like a condo gathering but with all of the amenities of an upscale Amelia Island bed and breakfast.
